ACIJ Community Aid Fund

We have created the ACIJ Community Aid Fund to support immigrants who are struggling financially during COVID-19 and have been excluded from federal and state relief.

Apply Here!

If you have questions, you can call:

You can apply if:

  • You do not qualify for unemployment benefits or stimulus relief from the federal or state government.

  • You live outside Jefferson and Shelby* counties, but within the state of Alabama.

  • You can provide information on your income and how it was affected by the pandemic.

Even if you don't qualify, you can still call our hotline to learn about other resources.

This is a one-time assistance, and it will be delivered in the form of a check that you will receive in the mail. Once you complete the process of requesting assistance and your application is approved, you will need to provide information and documents to confirm your identity, verify your home address or mailing address, and demonstrate that you have been affected by COVID-19. If you have questions about the application process and required documents, please call 1-888-AYUDA-AL (1-888-298-3225). Please note: Assistance cannot be guaranteed if you do not meet the above requirements.

*If you live in Jefferson or Shelby County, please click these links to learn about financial assistance options at Adelante and HICA.
